I am pleased to inform you that a representative of the Canadian Security Intelligence Service, has agreed to give a presentation on foreign influence on research. His presentation will cover national security concerns and steps that can be taken by researchers to protect themselves and their intellectual property. The presentation is scheduled at 3:00 to 4:30 pm in Senate Chamber (Room E3-262 Engineering Building) on June 5, 2020. Attendance is limited to 23 peoples to respect the provincial health guidelines that limit gathering inside buildings to 25 people. We will ensure that Senate Chamber is cleaned prior to this presentation and sitting spots will be clearly marked to meet the physical distancing requirements.
