Dear DFOM Students,
We are excited to announce that we are now accepting applications for the annual Concerto Competition. The winner(s) will have the opportunity to perform a concerto or comparable larger work with the University of Manitoba Symphony Orchestra or the University of Manitoba Wind Ensemble during the following academic year (2026-2027).

Preliminary Round
Saturday, February 28, 2026
9:00-12:00 in T2-266: Piano/String applicants
* 1:00-4:00 in T2-266: Voice applicants * 1:00-4:00 in T2-145: Woodwinds/Brass/Percussion applicants
Final Round
Sunday, March 15, 2026 at 2 PM
