Capturing the Patient Voice in the development of Trauma Informed Care Training As medical educators, we strive to make the training we provide as authentic as possible. This isn’t always an easy thing to do. Approaching a sensitive topic such as trauma-informed care can add multiple layers of complexity. The Department of Family Medicine undertook such a journey when they began creating a faculty development workshop on this topic for their residency program. In this month’s podcast, we spoke with Dr. Seint Kokokyi about the journey and how they endeavoured to capture the patient voice by working with a committee comprised of community members from diverse backgrounds.
