Learner Mentoring and Coaching Workshop with Dr. Cliff Yaffe Participants in this workshop will learn about the importance of mentoring and coaching in medical education and career development. The session will include didactic teaching and case discussion. At the completion of the session, participants will learn the following:
1. What is the difference between mentoring and coaching and where they may be utilized for medical learners? 2. What are the different types of mentorships? 3. What are the important qualities of a “great” mentor/coach? 4. What are the important ingredients of a successful mentoring experience for mentees and mentors?
