CAN is proud to announce we have partnered with Evidence for Democracy to present an advocacy webinar. We are happy to announce registration is open to everyone interested in science policy. In addition to useful tools for advocacy year-round, this event will focus on strategies to engage during the federal election period.

L’ACN est fière d’annoncer qu’elle s’est associés à Evidence for Democracy pour présenter un webinaire de plaidoyer. Cet événement est ouvert à toutes les personnes intéressées à la politique scientifique. En plus des outils utiles pour le plaidoyer tout au long de l’année, cet événement se concentrera sur les stratégies d’engagement pendant la période des élections fédérales. Titre : Faire le lien entre la science et la politique : Outils pour un plaidoyer efficace Description : Rejoignez Evidence for Democracy (E4D), la principale voix canadienne pour la science, les politiques publiques fondées sur des données probantes et la prise de décision transparente, pour un atelier engageant et interactif intitulé « Rapprocher la science et la politique : Outils pour un plaidoyer efficace ». Cette session est conçue pour doter les scientifiques et les chercheurs des connaissances et des compétences nécessaires pour devenir des défenseurs efficaces de la science. Les participants auront un aperçu des bases de la politique scientifique, de l’importance des données probantes dans l’élaboration des politiques, des principes fondamentaux de la défense de la science et de la manière de s’engager auprès des représentants élus.
