DR. DEBBIE KELLY CANADA RESEARCH CHAIR IN COMPARATIVE COGNITION; ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR, FACULTY OF ARTS
The study of animal cognition allows us to understand how different species live in the world using sensory, developmental or cognitive processes that differ from our own. This approach not only widens our understanding of animals and their abilities, but also allows us to question what it means to be human.
