Marina Martinez, Ph.D.
Associate Professor
Département de Neurosciences
Université de Montréal
Montréal, Quebec
RESEARCH PROFILE: Dr. Martinez is an Associate Professor in the Department of Neuroscience at the University of Montreal. She has had a long-standing interest in
spinal cord injury research. Her lab uses small and large animal models and a combination of behavioral, electrophysiological and engineering approaches to
understand the neurophysiological mechanisms underlying plasticity of locomotor systems and to test neuroprosthetic approaches aimed at guiding recovery of walk.
All are welcome to attend!
