Human Brain Imaging Methods (IMED 7004)
This is a 1.5 credit hour course held on the Bannatyne Campus (Sep. 8, 2016 - Oct. 27, 2016). It will be of particular interest to graduate students whose research is in neuroscience. This course will provide an overview of the in vivo brain imaging methods and how imaging data are analysed (e.g., MRI, PET, EEG). Students will have opportunity to perform hands-on practice in computer labs with sample data.
The course has 2 components:
1. Lectures that will provide a systematic survey of different brain imaging modalities, and
2. Computer Laboratory sessions in which students will perform computer analysis using real brain imaging data.
