T O P I C Small Animal and Materials Imaging Core Facility
O B J E CT I V E S
The University of Manitoba Small Animal and Materials Imaging Core Facility (SAMICF), part of the Central Animal Core Imaging and Transgenic Facilities, brings capabilities for both structural/anatomical and functional imaging to Manitoba scientists. SAMICF provides access to the following instrumentation:
* SkyScan 1176 high resolution micro-CT imaging system, * IVIS Spectrum bioluminescence/fluorescence imaging system * VisualSonics Vevo2100 high resolution ultrasound imaging system * Siemens P4 and R4 micro-PET imaging systems * MR Solutions 7T MRI-PET imaging system.
This presentation will highlight the extensive imaging capabilities offered by SAMICF and outline how Manitoba researchers can access and utilize this state-of-the-art instrumentation.
