Dear Midwifery Leaners,
This is a reminder to recertify your CPR at the Health Care Provider Level (HCP) during the months of April or May, regardless of the expiry date noted on your CPR card. Proof of your recertification must be emailed to nursing(a)umanitoba.ca<mailto:nursing@umanitoba.ca> no later than June 1st, 2024. No exceptions.
* Note - Students registered in clinical in Summer Term are encouraged to submit their CPR by May 1st (including Midwifery Learners)
* If you are graduating after Winter Term (May 2024 Grads), you do not need to submit proof of CPR recertification.
* The NSA often offers CPR courses in April and May. Please watch for more information from the NSA. Participating in these classes will help support the NSA as they receive a portion from our CPR Partner for each sign-up!
Please include CPR and your full name and student number in the subject of your email.
Submitting your documents on time means that you will be able to register during the initial registration period, provided you do not have other holds on your record. Students who do not submit the documents on time will be prevented from registering for courses until late August, which may result in you not obtaining space in some of your courses.
If you have any further questions or concerns, please email Candice Lagasse @ nursing(a)umanitoba.ca<mailto:nursing@umanitoba.ca>
PLEASE DO NOT CERTIFY BEFORE APRIL 1, 2024
Please do not reply all to this email.
Thank you and have a great day!
