
Hello Nursing Students, Dr. Marnie Kramer, Assistant Professor in the College of Nursing, is inviting students to participate in a research study titled: “Identifying Concepts for Mastery Learning in an Undergraduate Nursing Evidence-Informed Practice Course.” We are looking for students who are currently enrolled in, have completed, or have had an academic or voluntary withdrawal from NURS 3550 – Professional Practice 3: Evidence-Based Practice for Health Professionals within the last year. The purpose of this Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (SOTL) study is to identify areas within the course where students experience the most difficulty, in order to enhance future learning experiences. Study Details:
* You will participate in a virtual focus group lasting approximately 1.5 hours. * Total participation time, including reading the consent form and reviewing your transcript, will be about 2 hours. * A $50 e-transfer will be provided as a thank-you for your time and participation. * Sessions will be scheduled at a time convenient for participants.
