College of Nursing scholarships
Hello Midwifery, Fort Garry and UCN Nursing students,
The deadline to apply for scholarships in the College of Nursing is Wednesday May 31, 2023.
Please visit: https://umanitoba.ca/nursing/student-experience/resources-undergraduate-stud... for a listing of scholarships available. If you have looked at this link prior to today and applied, you may notice some changes. Pay attention on how to apply, as some scholarships require an application. If you applied by email/paper already, you do not have to resubmit.
The NSA Scholarships (available to all midwifery and nursing students) are under "All Years". An application is required.
Scholarships are awarded on academic merit (and sometimes other documents). Your degree GPA (DGPA) for nursing can be seen in AURORA at the top of your transcript under Degrees. A DGPA is different than your Cumulative GPA.
Only those students selected as recipients will be notified later in the summer (likely August).
Best wishes, Marie
