Please see below for information about a new project being conducted by the Health Information and Exchange Laboratory and the Hearts and Minds Laboratory at the University of Manitoba, called Recognizing and Responding to Birth Trauma: The Development and Pilot Evaluation of a Brief Online Training Intervention for Canadian Health Care Providers.

We are interested in hearing about the training needs of physicians, nurses, and midwives in recognizing and responding to their patients’ needs after birth trauma.

If you are a professional or student in these fields, we invite you to complete a 15 – 30-minute online survey (you can save and return later) asking about your background and training needs. Those who complete the online survey can enter a raffle for one of four $25 e-gift cards to Amazon. The findings will inform the development of a training intervention tailored to the overall needs of physicians, nurses, midwives, and students in these fields.
