Call for Nominations - NSA ‘26/‘27 Council Election
Hello Nursing & Midwifery Students, It is that time of year again to elect new council representatives. Nominations are now officially open for all Nursing Students’ Association (NSA) council positions. The voting period will take place from April 7 to April 8 using the Simply Voting online platform. Please review the attached nomination form for details on available positions. You can also refer to the attached NSA Constitution for descriptions of each council role. If you are interested in running for the Student Senate Representative or the Sigma Theta Tau Xi Lambda Representative positions, please review the additional documents provided. Completed nomination forms must be submitted to the Senior Stick, Mariam Yusuf (yusufm2@myumanitoba.ca) by April 1st @ 11:59pm. Please include the subject line: “NOMINATION FORM – (Position You Are Running For)”. Why join NSA? Getting involved with the NSA is a great opportunity to connect with fellow College of Nursing students and faculty. It also helps develop leadership, teamwork, and professional skills, while strengthening your resume. Participation is also recognized on your co-curricular record.
