Hello Students, We are looking for volunteers to support two upcoming College of Nursing events: Homecoming on Friday, September 18, 2026, from 4:30 PM–6:00 PM and Take Our Kids to Work Day on Wednesday, November 4, 2026, from 9:15 AM–10:00 AM. Homecoming deadline: August 31st, 2026 TOKWD: October 12th, 2026 For Homecoming, volunteers will help showcase the College of Nursing by demonstrating nursing skills, maternity simulation, and virtual reality (VR) technology to alumni and special guests. Volunteers must attend in full clinical scrubs, and program hours and CCR will be provided. Food will also be available. For Take Our Kids to Work Day, volunteers will help guide Grade 9 students through nursing labs, assist with equipment demonstrations (such as stethoscopes, blood pressure skills, and simulation activities), and support VR activities. These volunteer hours will count toward peer mentorship hours.
