Reminder: Orange Shirt Day- Friday, September 26th

Dear Nursing Students, This is a reminder to join us for the Nursing Students’ Association’s 11th Annual Orange Shirt Day on Friday, September 26, from 8:30 AM – 12:00 PM. This event is organized by the NSA Senior Stick and Indigenous Student Representative, with support from the Government of Manitoba’s Orange Shirt Day Grant, UMSU, and the College of Nursing. Orange Shirt Day is an important opportunity to hear from Indigenous leaders and to renew our collective commitment to the Truth and Reconciliation Commission’s Calls to Action. The walk will take place in honor and remembrance of all residential school children, past and present. We are still in need of more volunteers to help ensure the success of this event. If you are able to assist, please add your name to the volunteer sheet linked below. https://umanitoba-my.sharepoint.com/:w:/g/personal/yusufm2_myumanitoba_ca/EY... Every Child Matters. Sincerely,
Mariam Yusuf (she/her) Senior Stick | Nursing Students' Association College of Nursing | Rady Faculty of Health Sciences University of Manitoba
