Dear Graduate Students and Postdoctoral Fellows,
International travel safety and risk management supports are available for your university-related travel. Students and fellows planning to travel internationally (outside of Canada) are advised to review the University of Manitoba's Travel Toolshttps://umanitoba.ca/international/travel-tools webpage for traveler responsibilities and guidance. This page includes mandatory pre-departure training and waivers for all UM graduate student travelers, instructions on how to pre-register your international trip with the UM, and information on free, 24/7 medical and travel security assistance for all UM graduate students and postdoctoral fellows.
Students who will be travelling on University business, and the staff supporting them, are welcome to contact Breanne Guibochemailto:breanne.guiboche@umanitoba.ca, International Engagement Officer, with questions and concerns regarding international travel safety and risk management, including questions related to data security when crossing international borders.
