Caution! This message was sent from outside the University of Manitoba.
Hello,
I hope this email finds you well. I'm the coordinator of CAMCCO-L, a CIHR-funded training platform for which Dr. Sherif Eltonsy, Assistant Professor at UManitoba's College of Pharmacy, is a co-principal investigator.
CAMCCO-L aims to provide transdisciplinary training focused on research in the fields of perinatal health and medications. We offer over 78 hours of online training, including six course modules and webinars, as well as a structured 1-year training program (curriculum), which includes opportunities for in-person events, such as the Summer School on Medicines and the CAMCCO Annual Meeting. At the end of the 1-year curriculum, a certificate of completion is awarded jointly with MICYRN.
As we have now launched the call for applications for the 2025-2026 cohort of the 1-year curriculum, we would like to kindly ask for your help in circulating the announcement within UManitoba's College of Pharmacy/Rady Faculty of Health Sciences.
We are looking for graduate students, postdoctoral fellows and early career researchers conducting therapeutic research in perinatal health, developmental/fetal toxicity, maternal-fetal/obstetric medicine, etc. Five student bursaries (from $8,000 to $20,000, depending on the study cycle) will be awarded to trainees joining our 1-year curriculum cohort. Moreover, trainees enrolled in the curriculum will receive a bursary to attend the CAMCCO Meeting in spring 2026, and they are also eligible for a bursary to attend the Summer School, either in summer 2025 (Montreal) or 2026 (Toulouse).
Trainees can apply by contacting me at this current email address or by creating a CAMCCO-L account and indicating that they wish to follow the curriculum in the registration form.
Attached is the call for applications brochure (also available via this Bitly: bit.ly/4hXDEuVhttps://bit.ly/4hXDEuV) and a promo image that can be used for distribution. More information can also be found on the CAMCCO-L website: https://www.camccol.ca/en/nouvelle/applications-2025-2026.
We would be very grateful for your collaboration. Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions about our program and call for applications.
Thank you very much in advance.
Best regards, Claudie
