We can organize the refreshments and snacks for the 26th. I'll post up some signs and try to start spreading the word. Do you think you could forward the date and time to the rest of the grad students for now? I'll send out a reminder email closer to the date too.

Traditionally, the invited speakers meet with our graduate students for questions/discussion. I have built into the itinerary for Dr. Weselake to meet with the Plant Science graduate students for coffee on Tuesday, March 26 from 10:15 - 11:30am in your grad lounge.

Dr. Weselake is a Professor and Tier 1 Canada Research Chair of the Agricultural Lipid Biotechnology Program in the Department of Agricultural, Food and Nutritional Science at the University of Alberta. Dr. Weselake is best known for his research in the seed oil content found in major oilseed crops. This is a great opportunity for the grad students to meet with Dr. Weselake on their own turf.
