The Plant Science GSA will hold their annual end of year BBQ on Tuesday May 1 at 12 noon in the Plant Science courtyard.
The first BBQ of the season also means that it's time to elect a new Plant Science Graduate Students' Association executive. There are a number of positions to be filled and include:
President Treasurer Social Director Social committee Dept Plant Science Council Rep GSA Rep Sports Rep Safety committee Rep Computer Rep Library Rep
The creation of the new: 'Advanced Plant Science Seminar Graduate Student Rep' will also need to be filled by a Doctoral student.
The details and responsibilities of all positions are posted in the grad lounge. If you would like to nominate a person who you feel would represent the Department well and continue our strong tradition of success and comaraderie, please feel free to send me their names.
This is a great time to reward yourself by donating your service to the Department!
Beverages and treats will be served - please bring your own BBQ-ables!
