Hi!

As you may have heard, graduate students in our department (us!) will be hosting the 28th Annual Plant Science Graduate Student Symposium this winter! It will be a 2-day conference with Plant Science grad students from the U of Saskatchewan, North Dakota State University, the U of Minnesota, and our university.

Sarah Braman and I have been elected to organize the symposium. However, we need your help! There are plenty of opportunities to get involved in the organisation of the symposium: plan social events, help with the fundraising, organize the closing ceremony, organize the symposium itself, etc.

If you are interested in helping with the organization, please come to our 1st meeting! The symposium organizing committee (only Sarah and I, so far) will have its 1st meeting this Thursday, October 27th, at 2pm, in room 218.
