CANADIAN WHEAT BOARD (CWB) GRADUATE FELLOWSHIP APPLICATIONS: 2009-2010
Fellowships will be awarded on the basis of a proven record of outstanding academic achievement and research interest in areas of study directly related to wheat and barley production, marketing and utilization. Any student pursuing graduate studies in these areas can apply for a CWB fellowship. Preference will be given to projects which address the research priorities. However, proposals in other areas will be considered as well. The selection process will take into consideration the benefit to western Canadian producers.
Please see me for a copy of the application and the research priorities. Applications for the 2009-2010 competition and the research priorities will be available on the CWB web site (http://cwb.ca/public/en/ under "About Us") after January 23, 2009.
Please note that the application includes the section "18. Practical Application". Special care should be taken by students to complete this section for it will be an important criteria used in determining the successful candidates.
Deadline for receipt of applications for this award is Friday, February 6, 2009 in the Student Services Office, Room 160 Agriculture Building (attention: Wendy Kramer).
