1. We are currently recruiting for the 2025-2026 cohort and welcome applications from thesis-based Master's and PhD students, including those entering graduate programs across both health and non-health backgrounds, as well as a variety of disciplines. The application deadline for the 2025-2026 cohort is April 11, 2025. Students can apply through the following link: https://applygrad.umanitoba.ca/apply
1. Students who are accepted into the program will receive a one-year financial stipend of $20,000 for MSc students and $25,000 for PhD students.
1. Upon successful completion of all program components, students will be awarded a Graduate Micro-Diploma in Applied Health Services Research. The one-year program is designed to deepen students' understanding of the healthcare system and the critical role of evidence-based research in shaping healthcare policy. Activities include rigorous academic coursework, insightful seminar discussions, knowledge translation training, and practical work placements and networking opportunities within Manitoba's healthcare system.
