We would like to clarify that the invitation letter to become a nominator of the VinFuture has been sent from our official email. We trust that your solid science background and enriched experience would help the VinFuture Prize identify and nominate deserving scientists. To assist you during this crucial process, the Prize Secretariat would like to provide some detailed information below:
1. Role and Responsibility of the Nominator:
* Nominators are invited to nominate researchers, inventors, innovators in science, engineering, technology, or multi-disciplinary approaches for: * 01 Grand Prize (breakthrough innovation that has had a positive impact on the daily lives of millions of people); * 03 Special Prizes (outstanding work that has or will have a positive impact on the daily lives of millions of people) in these categories: * Innovators from Developing Countries * Women Innovators * Innovators with Outstanding Achievements in Emerging Fields. * You can register an account and submit documents through our online nomination portal for Nominators at https://online.vinfutureprize.org/nomination. In the nomination form, the Nominator will be asked to provide information about the research method/solution/invention that meets the nomination criteria. * You can nominate researchers/inventors from your organization, as long as you are not the nominee in the submission.

* The VinFuture Prize has simplified the nomination form as required by the 02 official international judging panels – the VinFuture Prize Council and Pre-Screening Committee, which includes: * Instructions for Nominationhttps://vinuni.my.salesforce.com/sfc/p/#2v000001XwGF/a/2u000001WrTY/o3ekTqB2hDqjKglWfuoF9wjgM0uJ8GlEnaLerufgymI: The Nominator is required to fill in information about themselves, the nominees, and the nominated work (Invention/Innovation). * Endorsement letter templatehttps://vinuni.my.salesforce.com/sfc/p/#2v000001XwGF/a/2u0000008xtf/0UAM7YC4avvcGgR8leK2G6E9yky_0bZNyyLXNN8O3U8: The Nominator is required to discuss further with at least 1 expert (called the Endorser, whose reputation will have positive impact) in the field of the nominated work to write an Endorsement letter (at least 1 letter with signature) confirming the impact scale of the nominated work and the authorship of the nominees. We encourage the nominated works to have more than 2 endorsement letters from 2 different experts, who are not the Nominator/Nominees. * If the time to obtain the Endorsement letter is longer than expected, the Nominator can press the Submit button to send in the form before the deadline and note in the “Nomination Form/Page 5/Other Comments” about the commitment to submit the Endorsement letter after a few months. Before pressing the Submit button, the Nominator needs to fill in the personal information of at least 1 expert (Endorser), up to 3 experts, and can fill in information in the Other Comments section if there are more endorsing experts. * Upon receiving one or more Endorsement letters after the deadline, the Nominator can send an email to secretariat@vinfutureprize.orgmailto:secretariat@vinfutureprize.org for assistance in including the additional Endorsement letter or other important documents in the nomination package. * The additional form including the authorship of nominee(s) and evidencehttps://vinuni.my.salesforce.com/sfc/p/#2v000001XwGF/a/2u0000008xtW/rLKrX2obp0ViQTY2O.fivhUXWjNIbXAY5hol0rKsueQ: The Nominator is required to provide information on all experts who have made significant contributions to the nominated work along with evidence.
A valid nomination submission for each VinFuture Prize season is a nomination package (i) submitted in English, (ii) through the online nomination portal, and (iii) before the closing deadline of that year. Valid submissions made after the deadline will automatically be considered for the next VinFuture Prize season.
