Happy to update that we have started a formal search process for a Canada Impact+ Research Chair position in climate change, polar environmental change, or water resources. The timeline is extremely tight - applications will be reviewed as they come in, and a selection has to be completed by the end of February at the latest. The Impact+ Chair program is a new Government of Canada initiative, aiming to attract world-leading researchers whose work addresses critical national and global challenges. The successful Chairholders and their research teams will receive an award of up to $1M/year over 8 years, with a potential for a 4-year extension at half of the initial award value. Only candidates who are internationally based (both working and residing outside of Canada) are eligible to apply.
