Hello everyone,
This was a gentle reminder that you were sent a calendar invite to a workshop on Experiential Learning in The Riddell Faculty to be held on Wednesday, 26th November from 1:30pm to 3:30pm in 545 Wallace Building.
Description: Hands-on learning? Career preparation? Learning-by-doing? The latest fad in education? What exactly is experiential learning and how does it fit in your courses and programs? In this workshop you'll explore these questions alongside other members of the Riddell Faculty and learn about key principles of experiential learning pedagogy.
About the presenter: Gerardo (Gera) is a Faculty Specialist in the Office of Experiential Learning at The Centre for the Advancement of Teaching and Learning. With a background in community engaged learning, travel programs, and classroom teaching, he supports faculties and instructors to integrate different types of experiential learning into courses and programs.
Please respond to the calendar invite by Wednesday, 19 November.
Have a great rest of your week!
