You are invited to attend presentations by the following candidates for the position of Canada Excellence Research Chair (CERC) in Arctic Climate Action and Sustainability, position #'s 36530/36531. During the presentation, the candidate will highlight their most significant research contributions and provide an overview of their proposed CERC program, followed by ample time for Q/A.

Thursday, 9 October 2025 Research Title: Response of Arctic lakes to climate extremes and variability: resilience, sustainability, and implications for freshwater security Candidate: Jasmine Saros, University of Maine (Please find the candidate's biography attached.) Time: 11:00 am to 12:00 pm Location: 545 Wallace Building
Graduate Students and PostDocs are invited to meet with each candidate over lunch on Tuesday, 7 October and Thursday, 9 October in Dean's Office Conference Room, 440 Wallace Building from 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm. (A light lunch will be served.)
