Hello all,
Just to let everyone know that I will not be on campus tomorrow, Thurs Jan 29th as I will be at the Law Courts building for Jury Selection. I don't know if I'll be allowed to have my phone on my person or turned off, so I won't be able to respond to emails or Teams messages in a timely manner. I will respond to any messages I get after the fact, so please expect a delay.
For those in Earth Sciences reading this email, we have received a new RICOH printer in the main office, and you will need to install new printer drivers in order to use it. Please email Semira as I have made documentation to help you try and get the printer up and running from your computer. Alternatively, you can still print if you bring your documents on a USB Flash Drive, your accounts should work, or if it's feasible, please wait for me til Friday, I'll be around all day as normal.
Thanks,

“The University of Manitoba campuses and research spaces are located on original lands of Anishinaabeg, Ininiwak, Anisininewuk, Dakota Oyate, Dene and Inuit, and on the National Homeland of the Red River Métis.
UM recognizes that the Treaties signed on these lands are a lifelong, enduring relationship, and we are dedicated to upholding their spirit and intent. We acknowledge the harms and mistakes of the past and the present. With this understanding, we commit to supporting Indigenous excellence through active Reconciliation, meaningful change, and the creation of an environment where everyone can thrive. Our collaboration with Indigenous communities is grounded in respect and reciprocity and this guides how we move forward as an institution.”
