*Online access to IST support*
I am pleased to announce that on March 30, 2016, IST will be going live with a new online self-service portal, known as the Service Catalogue, which will provide you with another means of obtaining IT support.
Through the online Service Catalogue, you will be able to:
• Submit and check ticket status online
• Chat Now with a Service Desk representative
• Get quick access to common support questions

From a client perspective, the online Service Catalogue will provide you
with:
• Consistent access to services through self-service support portal
• An easy to use self-service interface
• Faster access to IST support
• Access to support from any location with an Internet connection
*The online Service Catalogue is not intended to replace existing means of accessing IST support. In addition to using the online Service Catalogue, students and staff can still call or visit the Service Desk to obtain support. *
We engaged various stakeholder groups throughout the development of the online Service Catalogue and provided Distributed IT with a high level overview on March 9. We are planning further announcements on March 30, as well as a series of sessions in April with Business Managers and Distributed IT to provide more details about the features and functionality of the online Service Catalogue. We will be available to deliver similar sessions to any groups wanting additional information.
