Translating science to policy: Approaches to increase soil carbon sequestration in Canada’s croplands

Traduire la science en politiques : La séquestration du carbone dans le sol des terres cultivées du Canada
Les boursiers doctoraux 2020-2022 de l'ICPA ont terminé le rapport final de leur bourse et présenteront leurs conclusions le jeudi 18 mai 2022 de 12 h à 13 h (HE). Nous sommes heureux d'annoncer que l'honorable sénateur Rob Black animera le webinaire.
Les boursiers doctoraux de l'ICPA, Lisa Ashton, Hannah Lieberman, Callum Morrison et Marie-Élise Samson, sont un groupe multidisciplinaire qui se concentre sur l’intégration de la recherche scientifique et des données dans le développement de la politique entourant l'atténuation du changement climatique et le rôle que la séquestration du carbone peut jouer dans les terres cultivées du Canada. Leur rapport soutient que pour accroître le rôle des politiques dans la séquestration du carbone dans les terres cultivées canadiennes, une approche scientifique et systémique de la conception des politiques devrait être envisagée.
