Casual Fridays in Support of the UM Student Food Bank and The United Way of Winnipeg

This message is sent on behalf of the Administrative Building’s Fundraising Committee [Email banner reads: Tin for the bin. Fridays through December 2025. Casual Fridays are back through December 2025. Wear you jeans and support the UM Student Food Bank. Drop donations in locations mentioned below. Cash donations will go towards the United Way Winnipeg Campaign.] Please join us in supporting the UM Student Food Bank and The United Way of Winnipeg! Casual Fridays will be allowed from November 21 until the Holiday Break. Please bring a non-perishable item for the foodbank or contribute a toonie to support our United Way Campaign! The UM Student Foodbank is in particular need of these items: * Canned vegetables, fruit, soup, beans * Canned fish * Canned sandwich meat * Pasta and rice * Dry lentils and other beans * Pasta sauce * Assortment of crackers * Cereal, oatmeal, pancake mix * Syrup, jams, peanut butter, almond butter * Condiments: ketchup, mustard, mayonnaise, siracha sauce, etc. * Ground coffee, tea, instant coffee * Juice * Sugar * Deodorant * Toothpaste and toothbrushes * Body wash and soaps * Pads and tampons There will be boxes in Rooms 202, 315 and 410 to drop off food items or monetary donations, and we will be collecting items until Friday, December 19th. Hello, We hope this email finds you well. We are thrilled to invite you to an upcoming event. Wrapped for a Cause Fundraiser: Free Gift-wrapping Service November 20, December 04, 18 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM Room 311 (Admin Building) Monetary and non-perishable item donations are welcome. Your participation will help support two wonderful causes: UMSU Holiday Hampers Program and the UM Food Bank. It promises to be a fantastic opportunity to get into a festive spirit while making a meaningful contribution to our UM community.
