About Home Movie Day:
Home Movie Days are events that are held at local venues across world that celebrate amateur filmmaking and document the lives of everyday individuals. The events screen home-based movies from both professional institutions and families or individuals from the community. Vintage equipment is often provided by the event runners to let the owners of submitted films view the films perhaps for the first time in years. It is also a chance for other community members to see the amateur film work of their neighbors and to learn more about the importance of film preservation and how they can do it at home.
Please note that I will be filling in for the Spring, so if you have any questions about these events or Calls, please do not hesitate to contact me.
Warm wishes,
