Good morning,
February 11th is the International Day of Women and Girls in Science! To celebrate, we want to hear about the incredible #WomeninSTEM at CHRIM, and hopefully encourage more women and young girls to pursue careers in research.
Our team is planning a social media series and blog, asking the following questions:
* What made you choose a career in STEM? * Why is diversity important in the field of science? * Could you share a project or achievement you're particularly proud of in your scientific career? * What woman in STEM inspires you? * How can we inspire and empower more young girls to pursue careers in science? * What advice would you give to young girls aspiring to enter the world of science?
If you would like to participate and be featured, please email Communications@chrim.camailto:Communications@chrim.ca and answer all or some of the above questions or share anything else Women In STEM related that you think would be inspiring!
Quotes will be shared via CHRIM's communications channels, including social media and our weekly newsletter.
This year is the 10th anniversary of the global Women In STEMhttps://www.unesco.org/en/articles/2025-international-day-women-and-girls-science#:~:text=In%202015%2C%20the%20United%20Nations,anniversary%20together%20at%20UNESCO%20Headquarters. movement, let's celebrate all the amazing accomplishments of the women at CHRIM!
Thanks for participating!
