Lindau Award Winner - Courtney Marshall

Hello WISDOM members,
Congratulations to WISDOM Learner Executive member Courtney Marshall who won the Lindau Award at ICAM 2025!
Courtney Marshall is a PhD student in the Department of Immunology under the supervision of Dr. Neeloffer Mookherjee on her project "Immunomodulation of airway inflammation by Innate Defence Regulator Peptide IDR-1002; IL-33 production and sex bias". She received the Ed Kroeger Travel Award during the 2025 MSHRF to attend and present her poster at the 2025 International Congress on Academic Medicine in Halifax. During ICAM, she presented in the health research poster competition, where delegates from other Universities in Canada present their work and compete for awards. Her poster "Tristetraprolin as a Novel Target of Innate Defence Regulator (IDR) Peptide in the modulation of IL-33 production in the lungs" received a Gold Award, a Gairdner Award to attend the Gairdner Awards Ceremony in Toronto, and the Lindau Award. The Lindau is awarded to the top poster presentation in the health research competition and comes with a nomination to attend a future Lindau Nobel Meeting in Germany.
