Ableism Policy Working Group

Hi Everyone, Dr. Marcia Anderson, Vice-Dean, Indigenous Health, Social Justice and Anti-Racism, is leading the process for the development of a policy on ableism for the Rady Faculty of Health Sciences. To assist in the development of the policy, she is establishing an Ableism Policy Working Group and is asking each College to name a representative to participate on the Working Group. Vivian Umeohabike UMSNIV - Undergraduate Nurse Employee Vivian Umeohabike is an undergraduate international student in the Bachelor of Nursing program, completing the fourth year. Vivian is the current Senior Stick for the Nursing Student Association and has been a UNE at St. Boniface Hospital, Medicine unit, for about a year. The five-year plan is based on the input received from you and other stakeholders at our Strategic Planning Session in August 2022. I welcome your further feedback on the draft plan.
