Good morning all,
If you receive an email from Dr. Douglas J. Cattani, asking for information, he wants to get/buy you something, do not respond, it is scam.

Security alert: we had a young man wandering our halls acting suspiciously - he is about 5'4", yellow shirt with no jacket or backpack. He was going up and down our halls, trying doors and wandered into our staff kitchen, took pictures of our computer room. We were unable to catch up with him and are calling security but just a heads up in case he wanders your way.

I would like to thank everyone who came this morning to move equipment out of the Point seed processing rooms. This was a success, and we were able to move the big items into grain drying room. We will now have access this equipment without any restrictions over the summer.
Mel will be taking down the blue and orange metal seed storage shelves later today. He will need some help with this, so he will be reaching out to people for assistance. Please help out if you can.
Thanks again,
Curt

_______________________________
We have made great progress towards our goals of preparing the seed storage and processing rooms for the anticipated March 31st closure. Thanks to many for making time to complete the needed activities in the seed storage, processing, and drying room spaces by our target dates (list below).
Our plan has a list of final activities that will need to take place the last week of March and will require a group of people to work together. The Point Transitions committee met this week and we believe that most of these activities could get done in one day if the preparatory work has been completed and we have a team of 8 people. Please mark your calendars for Tuesday March 26th at 9 am and plan to have at least one member from each lab group that works at the Point participate. We will start with a brief planning meeting in the Point coffee room to get organized into teams for specific tasks and to coordinate our efforts for the day.
