Hi Jim, Thanks for the callback yesterday. Just to recap, I am just wondering if I may send my director Erika MacPherson to film a couple panelists at the conference?
We are producing a small documentary for CBC Manitoba about the monument being created to commemorate the 1919 strike - this of course is the monument of the tipped over railcar from Bloody Saturday which will go up at Market Square. To illustrate the continuity to today, filming some current issues and events would help the supporting story for the documentary. Erika would like to come on her own [no camera crew] with a camera to film some of your panelists [only with their prior permission of course]. Please let me know if this is something you could support.
I am happy to answer any questions you may have.
Many thanks for your consideration,

Hello all, Please note that we will be filming the Wednesday night session as part of a package being prepared for school groups. This is part of what evolved from an early plan discussed by Janis, Jeff, Paul and myself and proposed to the MFL as a way to update the Edu-Kit that was provided to Manitoba high schools in 2011. As with the Millennium Library Series, we will advise the audience of this and have permission forms signed by all speakers. Best, Sharon
