Please join us in the University of Manitoba Archives next Thursday evening, May 2, at 7:30 pm for a stimulating talk by Danny Schur about his role in making the film "Stand!" about the Winnipeg General Strike of 1919. A reception follows. And pop by to see the exhibit of photographs and documents about the Strike, including an original baton, arm band and badge used by the special constables during the Strike that we borrowed from the Winnipeg Police Museum.
