Fight for 15 Friday Night event
Hi everyone,
I just wanted to make a formal proposal to the committee about a Friday night event.
Fight for 15 Manitoba (FF15MB) will be organizing a social at X-cues (551 Sargent ave) on the night of May 10th. It will be a casual event meant for socializing and a networking opportunity for FF15MB. We'll have a 50\50 to raise money for FF15MB. We might organize a pool tournament depending if people are interested.
In terms of advertising and arrangements for event FF15MB will be handling that. The only requests are if the event could be placed in the conference schedule and if the committee could cover the cost of the space booking ($200).
Thank you for the consideration.

Let's discuss this on Saturday. FWIW I support notifying people about it in the schedule. If we can afford it and if we have funds we can use to cover the booking (i.e. funds not earmarked for something else by the funder) let's pay for the booking too.
Cheers, David
