VEHICLE FRIDAY

A YOUTH was hit by a car while crossing the street on River Road near St. Mary’s Road just before 5 p.m. Friday.

The child was sent to hospital as a precaution and is in stable condition, the Winnipeg Police Service confirmed Saturday.

The driver remained at the scene and was co-operative with police.
