PEDESTRIAN KILLED IN NORTH END AFTER BEING HIT BY TRUCK

A 68-year-old man is dead after he was hit by a pickup truck at Salter Street and Selkirk Avenue Saturday afternoon.

It happened at 12:43 p.m. Saturday. Police and Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service personnel responded and the pedestrian was taken in critical condition to hospital, where he died.

The driver was co-operative with police, and the investigation is ongoing.
