In addition to increases in funding, we are pleased to announce an easier and more streamlined application process. The practice of accepting a hard copy of an application or a pdf via email will be discontinued effectively immediately. Please note that all new applications will be assessed with the increased amounts; the guidelineshttp://umanitoba.ca/faculties/graduate_studies/media/GETSguidelines2014_2015.pdf have been updated to reflect increases). For Principle Investigators whom have already submitted an application and have not yet received a confirmation of funding email, please let me know via email if you would prefer that application be assessed with the new cost sharing amounts. I'm excited about the new online GETS application. It will help streamline funding requests, which in turn benefits both the PI and student.
