Happy first week of school!
I am reaching out to let you know that applications for the Community Leadership Development Program are now open and are closing September 20th at 11:59pm.
This program is for you if you want to start a new student group or initiative and engage your community to:
* Create safer spaces by-and-for systemically marginalized students. * Work towards social justice. * Incorporate equity, diversity, inclusivity, and access (EDIA).
Apply as a team of at least three and meet weekly with your mentor to learn how to more effectively work with your community.
For more information or to apply, head to the Community Leadership Development Program websitehttps://umanitoba.ca/community-engaged-learning/CLDP. Feel free to reach out to Madison.reed@umanitoba.ca with any questions.
Looking forward to seeing your application!
Best, Maddi
