Hello DH2 Students,
I am happy to inform you that you have been assigned a student voice mailbox number.
All the instructions are in the Student Clinic Manual, but I have also attached them to this email for quick reference.
The last page of the instructions is for you to sign & return to me by next week Wednesday, December 11, 2024.
I encourage all of you to set up your voicemail message & test it with a classmate to make sure everything is working before winter break.
Use of the student mailbox messaging system is mandatory for all students at the Dr. Gerald Niznick College of Dentistry. This is the system that patients are to use when contacting students.
Here is a brief outline of how the Student Voice Mailbox works:
* At your first appointment with your patient, give them the instructions of the Student Voice Mailbox & your 4 digit mailbox number * Patients who need to speak with you regarding an upcoming appointment or treatment are to call 204-480-1339 * The voice mail system will ask the patient to enter the students 4 digit number * After the patient has entered your 4 digit number, they will be prompted to leave a voice message for you * You will then receive a notification that you have a voice message waiting for you
Please follow the instructions for setting up your voicemail including entering an updated password and a personal voice message from yourself.
Feel free to come see me or send me a message if you have any questions or concerns.
Sincerely, Debra Thiessen
