Hello Dent 1,
Here is the slide deck for the orientation session (Aug 25, 2025) introducing the interprofessional education (IPE) opportunities provided by the Office of Interprofessional Collaboration, RFHS.
Dr. Schönwetter will ensure the attached is posted in RSTD Introduction to Dentistry, but here is the PPt deck for your ease of access as well.
I will be sending you an email in September with details about the first in-person IPE session taking place on the Bannatyne Campus on Friday, September 19th 3-5 PM.
Be sure to have completed the UML online module titled: Introduction to Collaborative Team-based Care by Sept 19th in preparation for the in-person IPE session. Your quiz marks will be provided to Dr. Schönwetter as part of your mark in RSTD Introduction to Dentistry.

I acknowledge that the University of Manitoba campuses are located on original lands of Anishinaabeg, Cree, Oji-Cree, Dakota and Dene peoples, and on the homeland of the Métis Nation. I respect the treaties made on these territories.I acknowledge the harms and mistakes of the past and present. With a spirit of reconciliation and collaboration, I move forward in partnership with Indigenous communities. In all my actions, I am grounded in salutogenesis and aim to contribute to health creation within places and settings where people live, learn, play, work, and love.
