Clinic/OHAF Update 16 Mar 2026
by Trenna Reeve 16 Mar '26

16 Mar '26

To all students, 1. OHAF update - the OHAF grant has been extended. What does this mean? * Any OHAF application that HAS BEEN APPROVED - you have until the end of this academic year to complete treatment - you do not need to have treatment completed by 31 March as was the case before the grant extension. You have until the end of this academic year (May 2026). * BUT - We have NOT been given any more funding, so OHAF applications that have not been approved to date will still NOT be approved. If you have submitted and OHAF application and it has NOT BEEN APPROVED I would recommend that you speak with the applicable course coordinator to see if other funding opportunities might be possible (endowment funds). 2. As we get closer to the end of the academic year be reminded that it is the student's responsibility to follow up with their patients regarding any outstanding balances on the patient account. 3. We will continue to screen patients. When the front desk is booking the screening appointments they are letting the potential patients know that they will not be assigned to a dental/dental hygiene student until the fall and thus if they have a dental emergency they must seek treatment in a private practice office until they are assigned to a student in the fall 2026. Please ensure you also discuss this with any patient that is screened and accepted. Have a great week. Trenna M. by immichellejhon＠gmail.com 11 Mar '26

The nursing program requires students to handle three different types of activities, which include lectures and clinical practice and research tasks. Many students find it difficult to meet deadlines while still producing well-researched work. Some students seek nursing assignment help because they need to learn complex topics while improving their writing skills and reference organization abilities. The tool serves as a learning support function, which should not be used to create shortcuts. Has anyone here tried academic support for their nursing assignments? Swing, Jump, and Groove: Getting Started with Dreadhead Parkour
by 607danit＠dollicons.com 11 Mar '26

11 Mar '26

Ever feel like escaping the mundane with a burst of gravity-defying action and a touch of quirky humor? Then buckle up, because you might just fall in love with dreadhead parkour. It's a simple yet surprisingly addictive online game that offers a unique blend of physics-based challenges and rhythmic movement. Forget triple-A graphics and complex narratives; this is pure, unadulterated fun centered around mastering momentum and the sheer satisfaction of sticking a landing. So, what exactly is dreadhead parkour, and how do you dive in? Let's break it down. https://dreadheadparkour.online/ Understanding the Gameplay: It's All About the Swing At its core, dreadhead parkour is a game of swinging and jumping. You control a ragdoll-like character with, you guessed it, dreadlocks. Your mission is simple: navigate a series of obstacles and platforms by using a rope to swing, launch yourself, and (hopefully) land safely. The beauty of the game lies in its intuitive controls. You click and drag the mouse to create a rope anchored to designated points. The direction and length of your drag determine the force and angle of your swing. Release the mouse button, and your character will launch in that direction. That’s it! Sounds easy, right? Well, the challenge comes from mastering the physics and learning to predict how your character will move based on the swing you create. The environment isn't static, either. You'll encounter moving platforms, spinning obstacles, and increasingly complex layouts that require precise timing and a keen understanding of momentum. The game is divided into levels, each presenting a new set of obstacles to overcome. As you progress, the difficulty ramps up, demanding more skill and strategic thinking. You'll need to consider the distance between platforms, the speed of moving objects, and the optimal angle for launching your character to reach the goal. The charm of the game also comes from its physics. Your dreadlocked avatar won't always land perfectly. Prepare for some hilarious flops, awkward tumbles, and the occasional faceplant. But don't worry, there are no penalties for failing. You can respawn instantly and try again until you nail the jump. This forgiving nature is what makes the game so accessible and encourages experimentation. Tips for Conquering the Concrete Jungle: Now that you understand the basic gameplay, let's equip you with some tips to become a true dreadhead parkour master: • Master the Swing: The key to success is mastering the swing. Practice creating ropes of different lengths and angles to see how they affect your character's movement. Pay attention to the momentum you build up during the swing – the longer and more forceful the swing, the further you'll launch. • Anticipate, Anticipate, Anticipate: Don't just react; anticipate. Before you even click to create a rope, visualize the trajectory you want your character to take. Consider the distance to the next platform, the height you need to reach, and any obstacles in your path. • Embrace the Failure (and the Laughter): You're going to fail. A lot. Don't get discouraged. Every failed attempt is a learning opportunity. Analyze what went wrong, adjust your approach, and try again. And don't forget to laugh at the absurd ragdoll physics. • Short Swings, Long Leaps: Experiment with shorter swings for more immediate control, especially when navigating tight spaces. Use longer swings for launching yourself across larger gaps. • Use the Momentum: Often, the trick to reaching distant platforms is to use the momentum gained from a previous swing. Time your release perfectly to maximize your distance. • Look for Alternate Paths: Sometimes, the most obvious path isn't the easiest one. Keep an eye out for alternate routes that might offer a more strategic or less challenging way to reach the goal. • Adjust Your Grip: Play around with the position of your mouse when creating the rope. Changing the anchor point can dramatically affect the angle and force of your swing. • Practice Makes Perfect: Like any skill, mastering dreadhead parkour takes practice. Don't be afraid to replay levels to hone your skills and experiment with different techniques. Conclusion: A Simple Game, Endless Fun Dreadhead parkour is a testament to the fact that simple games can be incredibly engaging. Its intuitive controls, forgiving gameplay, and hilarious physics make it accessible to players of all skill levels. While it may not boast cutting-edge graphics or a complex storyline, it delivers a pure and unadulterated dose of fun. So, if you're looking for a quick and easy way to unwind, test your coordination, and enjoy some satisfyingly physics-based action, give it a try. You might just find yourself hooked on the swinging, jumping, and grooving world of dreadhead parkour. Just remember to embrace the chaos, laugh at the failures, and enjoy the ride!

Linkjob.ai – The Interview Tool I Didn’t Expect to Actually Use This Much
by ethanparkx56＠gmail.com 02 Mar '26

02 Mar '26

Over the years, I’ve tried countless career resources — from generic interview tip lists to coaching platforms that cost way more than they’re worth. Most of them felt like noise: lots of words, few real results. But once in a while, something genuinely useful comes along. That’s exactly how I felt when I started using Linkjob.ai. Try it here: https://www.linkjob.ai/ At first, I assumed it was just another interview prep site. You know the type — lots of articles, lots of general advice, not much tangible improvement. But after my first few practice sessions, I realized this one wasn’t like the rest. First Impressions: “Wait… This Actually Feels Like Practice” The first mock interview I did was simple — a mix of behavioral questions and a few technical prompts. I expected lukewarm responses and generic feedback. Instead, I got a simulation that mimicked a real conversation, complete with follow-up twists that made me think on my feet. It didn’t feel like reading flashcards. It felt like… interviewing. That’s when I thought, “Okay, this is actually worth my time.” And that’s rare for interview tools. It’s Simple. But Not Shallow. Linkjob.ai’s approach is refreshingly straightforward: You start a session. You answer questions aloud or in text. You get thoughtful feedback. But here’s what sets it apart: Instead of giving you canned answers, it explains why certain answers work — and why others fall flat. The AI doesn’t just list questions and leave you hanging. It analyzes what interviewers are really asking, then breaks down the intent behind it. Are they testing problem-solving? Communication? Leadership potential? Cultural fit? The platform makes that clear and gives you frameworks — not scripts — to respond more effectively. The “Just One More Practice” Effect There’s something strangely addictive about refining your interview responses with Linkjob.ai. You do one mock round. It’s helpful. You try another. You think, “What if I phrase that differently?” And before you know it… you’re on session three. Linkjob.ai makes iteration fast and meaningful — not repetitive or robotic. Instead of memorizing cookie-cutter answers, you actually learn to think in interview-ready language. And that’s a profound difference. It Feels Built for Real Career Growth A lot of interview prep resources feel detached from reality — like they were designed before remote interviews, behavioral assessments, and technical screens became standard. Linkjob.ai feels current. It understands not just what questions are asked, but why they’re asked. It mirrors the flow of real interviews, with follow-ups that shift direction, deepen context, or test your reasoning. That’s incredibly valuable because real interviews don’t stick to scripts. This makes it useful for people in all stages of their career: Job seekers preparing for their first role Developers facing technical screens Professionals switching fields Managers prepping behavioral rounds It Doesn’t Replace Practice — It Improves It Here’s the thing: Linkjob.ai doesn’t do the talking for you. You still need: Your own experiences Your own authentic voice Your own ideas But it guides you toward clarity, structure, and confidence. That’s different from memorizing answers from a textbook. Instead of wondering “What should I say?” you start thinking “How do I express my experience clearly and professionally?” That shift alone makes preparation feel more productive. Where It Fits Into My Workflow I don’t use Linkjob.ai for every job search… just the ones where I really want to perform well. I use it to: Warm up before interviews Polish responses to tricky questions Build clear narratives around experience Practice under pressure without anxiety It’s not about perfecting every answer — it’s about gaining confidence and thoughtfulness. Final Thoughts If you’d told me a year ago that I’d regularly use an AI tool to prep for interviews, I would’ve raised an eyebrow. Now? I get it. Linkjob.ai makes interview prep feel lighter, more structured, and way more effective. And when a tool makes you feel prepared instead of anxious — that’s when you know it’s doing something right. Try it yourself: https://www.linkjob.ai/ Just don’t be surprised if you find yourself saying, “One more practice… just one more…” before you log off.
