Hello,
In the spring/summer of 2026, consider participating in Indigenous cultural experiential learning opportunities arranged by Lisa Mendez, Collaborative Practice Lead with the Office of Interprofessional Collaboration, RFHS.
If your schedule permits, plan on attending an information session on Oct 16th, 12-1 PM, in person in Theatre B or via zoom (see QR code in poster attached). Students who participated this past spring/summer share their experiences giving insights on the value of the experience.
You can also read about the opportunity: https://umanitoba.ca/health-sciences/student-experience/interprofessional-co... (scroll down the page until you arrrive at the Ndinawemaaganag information).

I acknowledge that the University of Manitoba campuses are located on original lands of Anishinaabeg, Cree, Oji-Cree, Dakota and Dene peoples, and on the homeland of the Métis Nation. I respect the treaties made on these territories.I acknowledge the harms and mistakes of the past and present. With a spirit of reconciliation and collaboration, I move forward in partnership with Indigenous communities. In all my actions, I am grounded in salutogenesis and aim to contribute to health creation within places and settings where people live, learn, play, work, and love.
