Convert it to Stata (using e.g. StatTransfer or saving it as a Stata-file directly from SPSS (ver 14)) and import it from the Data in/out menu in Epidata. Epidata find all your variablelabels and value labels from the SPSS file.

I have a ready SPSS-file (which is awaiting the app.5000 questionnaires of 220 questions each) and want the database to be built up using Epidata in order to reduce errors. Does any of you know if (and how) Epidata can read this SPSS-file? I wanted to ask before I start writing the whole thing manually...
