Hello MAHN students,
We have received a few emails questioning documentation specific to PSE.
Here's what you need to know for during PSE:
1) Do I need to keep track of my daily activities? Yes - You will still need to keep record of your daily activities in your last three weeks of your PSE in the Nutrition Care 4 tab. Your ICDEP roster remains your evidence of your Practicum learning activities and the work you have completed this year.
2) Do my preceptors have to complete the PSE Placement Tab? Yes - Your preceptors should answer the questions PSE Placement Tab in final week of your PSE & submit them to our Program, like you would usually submit your ICDEP roster at end of placement.
3) Do my preceptors have to provide ratings at end of placement in the Nutrition Care 4 tab? It depends on the student and placement: If you have categories that move from N/A or M to C at end of placement, please have your preceptors update those specific rating categories. If they are already C's there is no further action needed on this tab by your preceptors, other than to look & confirm that the daily activities you have listed are accurately reflected.
