Dear Colleagues,

We have a limited number of remaining spots still available in the previously advertised Mental Health First Aid training and would like to invite FKRM sessional instructors, particularly those with significant face-to-face teaching time with our students, to register if interested.

Dates: Monday, April 20 AND Tuesday, April 21 Time: 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. (both days) Format: In-person (attendance at both sessions is required) The training also includes a required short pre-session reading component. Registration costs will be covered through the FKRM Endowment Fund.

If you would like to participate, please complete the attached registration form and return it to sarah.teetzel@umanitoba.camailto:sarah.teetzel@umanitoba.ca by March 6 so we can coordinate registrations internally.

This initiative is intended to support those teaching who wish to feel more confident and prepared when responding to student mental health concerns in academic settings.
